Colours

Not carrot-related, but I’m really loving St. Vincent’s latest song New York, and it’s wonderfully colourful video:

And a nice quote on maturity from her interview about the song on the Song Exploder podcast :

“If the song is best suited for piano, insisting that I play it on guitar is this insane act of ego. Why would I do that? It’s a certain amount of maturity that’s like ‘I don’t need to paint with all the colours all the time.‘”
